| The etcher Léopold Massard was born in Paris. From 1891 he exhibited with the Salon des Artistes Français, of which he was a member. Léopold Massard etched many portraits of C19th French artists for Jules Claretie's Peintres et sculpteurs contemporains (1882-1884). |
