| Jean Picart-Le-Doux joined Jean Lurçat in his revival of the art of French tapestry, and it is for this that he is now best-known, though he started as a graphic artist and produced both wood engravings and lithographs. Jean Picart-Le-Doux was the son of the painter Charles-Alexandre-Le-Doux. He was born in Paris, and died in Venice. |
